About the Family
We ventured into this industry with a love for food, first and foremost. We love the ‘Eat Out’ culture, which at Tan Bueno, we wanted to make as relaxed and as enjoyable as possible, without comprising on the standards we hold dear!
As a family of food lovers, living in the Canary Islands gave us the opportunity to fall in love all over again! Experiencing first hand every day, beautiful dishes and flavours that were so lacking back home in our native England! Without realising it, this is where the dream began!
On 31st May 2018 we purchased The Hop and Huffkin. We made changes in order to incorporate our ideas, and implement our vision of introducing Spanish influenced, Mediterranean cuisine to Sandwich.
During the first Covid-19 lockdown, we took the opportunity to refurbish and rebrand, in order to give the experience we dreamed of! In July 2020 Tan Bueno was born and open for business!
